33 year old Wesley Angel killed 31-year-old Karamjeet Singh Reel in what the police called a “pre-planned and brutal attack”.
Officers say the victim was lured out of his flat by a group of men with the intention of robbing him.
Angel’s 24 year old brother Nathan Angel was found not guilty of murder having already pleaded guilty to manslaughter and conspiracy to rob.
26 year old Bobby Dunleavy had also previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter and conspiracy to rob.
Karamjeet, known as Kam, was found collapsed in the doorway of a pub in Staines Road in the early hours and died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination later confirmed his cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
