A major housing redevelopment in North Sheen appears to be on hold.

Proposals for Kew Retail Park include 1,200 new flats, a new Marks and Spencer, shops and improved public space.

But St George’s, the company behind it has decided to maintain as retail space “for the foreseeable future”.

The news has been obtained by the MP for Richmond Park, Sarah Olney who says it will come as a “relief” to many.
