The charity says, “kitten season,” which used to be the birthing period between spring and late autumn, is now all year round.
Just over a third Battersea’s entire feline intake last year were kittens under six-months- old.
Charity bosses says this puts enormous financial stress on the work it’s able to do, as well as unprepared owners.
