A group of scientists from the University of Surrey are taking on the “UK’s most overlooked environmental challenge: noise pollution.”

Noise Network Plus is one of six projects to receive a share of £10 million to fund their research.

The group of engineers and scientists will look at road traffic, flightpaths and everyday technology that increase noise.

They will promote design processes that create quieter products, buildings and transportation systems over the next 10 to 15 years.
