A grassroots music venue in Sutton says it is “hanging on by a thread.”

The Sound Lounge opened in the High Street during the pandemic in December 2020 having moved from its previous venue in Tooting.

But the current financial situation means it’s struggling to stay afloat.

Co-founder, Hannah White, says it would be devastating for the community and music artists if it was forced to close.
