The project, run alongside the Magic Breakfast charity, ensures that thousands more children will receive a free breakfast every day.
It’s part of the council’s School Food Strategy, which aims to tackle food insecurity and increase access to nutritious, fresh food.
The expansion comes after a successful year-long pilot reaching more than 3,000 children – nearly 60% of the children in each school.
