Builders found the fox trapped there on Tuesday last week.
Officers from the RSPCA set a sardine-baited trap overnight to safely capture it.
The healthy fox was released nearby and quickly ran off.
The RSPCA urges people to avoid handling wild animals and to always seek expert help.
