A former Surrey Police Community Support Officer based in Elmbridge has been charged with a number of offences, including perverting the course of justice and committing fraud by false representation.

24 year old Olivia Morphew has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The charges relate to an allegation of assault reported to Surrey Police in June 2022.

In July 2022, the matter was referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), who carried out an independent investigation.

The charges were subsequently authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Former PCSO Morphew is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
