On Tuesday the 3rd, the suspect stole the keys from his pocket and drove off down Bidhams Crescent at around 3pm.
The victim was knocked over, and the van containing parcels and personal items, was recovered later on in Epsom.
Police are asking residents to look out for the vehicles discarded dashcam which may contain key evidence.
