A cyclist from Chertsey has won gold on her return to cycling as Britain’s women were crowned track team pursuit world champions.

Katie Archibald was alongside Megan Barker, Josie Knight and Anna Morris as they beat Germany in the final.

The men’s quartet of Ethan Hayter, Josh Charlton, Charlie Tanfield and Ollie Wood won silver in Denmark with the hosts winning gold.
