A couple from Esher who lost their child to suicide will be baton bearers in her name at The Mall in London today.

Peter and Janine Willson’s 25-year-old daughter Becky died in October 2023.

The Baton of Hope UK tour is visiting 20 locations in one year to create awareness of suicide prevention.

Peter says there needs to be more support for parents trying to help children in distress, even if they are classified as adults.

Today is World Mental Health Day.
