The Claygate Community Alliance has been successful in their bid to run Claygate Community Centre in Elm Road.
The new management group is now working closely with Elmbridge Borough Council in preparation for their takeover later this year.
The Alliance hopes to provide everything from fitness to evening classes. Until now Elm Road has mainly been seen as a Day Centre.
