Blagdon Road open space was officially unveiled in July after months of work with new play equipment including a zip wire.
But within weeks, offensive graffiti had appeared, and similar tags have appeared overnight on the asphalt and climbing frame.
Residents living nearby say the situation is sad and disheartening.
