A charity in Richmond has rescued three tonnes of old furniture to-upcycle for the community.

Richmond Furniture Scheme fixes, paints and sells donated furniture and refurbished appliances at affordable prices.

It gives good quality items a new lease of life to help reduce waste in the borough.

Bicycles collected have gone to the Recirculate charity which sends them to HMP Aylesbury to be repaired and donated to NHS trusts.
