A celebration of honey is coming to Kingston.

HoneyFest will see a lively procession from the towns of Norbeeton, Surbeeton, Malden & Comb, and Hampton Skep.

Each town’s residents will carry a honey jar to Kingston Market Place on September the 15th.

HoneyFest has ancient roots, originating from a time when early villages would celebrate each other by exchanging honey.

Each village’s honey, infused with the distinct essence of the neighbourhood’s flora, became a symbol of their land and culture.
