Although formal identification is yet to take place, it is thought to be that of 58 year old Jonathan who was reported missing on 7th October.
He was last seen at The Last Hop Pub that night and then travelled along the Penton Hook Marina.
Officers recovered the body from the water on Saturday afternoon.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death, although it is not believed to be suspicious this time.
