Police were called to the water near Green Lane on Wednesday where a woman in her 30s was found.
The death is being treated as non- suspicious following a post-mortem examination, her family has been informed and enquires continue.
Officers are reminding people to be mindful of the potential dangers around entering water, following the recent spell of hot weather.
