A baby boy’s become the first child in the UK to be born to a mother who received a womb transplant from a deceased donor.

Grace Bell gave birth to her son Hugo in December – something she never previously thought possible.

She was diagnosed with a rare condition aged 16.

She received the transplant in 2024, which was funded by the charity Womb Transplant UK in Chelsea.
