The 15-year regeneration programme is expected to deliver up to 14,000 homes and 25,000 jobs.
The route, which stretches four kilometres between Heathrow and Central London, is known for its Art Deco landmarks.
They include the iconic Gillette Building, Syon House, Sky Campus, and the Gtech Community Stadium.
