Community groups, schools and people living in Wandsworth can apply for grants of up to £500 for projects that help the environment.

The money can be used for projects dealing with green spaces, wildlife protection, waste reduction or heatwave preparation.

Applications for the first round of Greener Wandsworth grants close on the 27th of November.

Anyone living or working in the borough can apply, with more funding rounds planned for next year.
