It performed particularly well in care for premature babies, including breathing support and follow-up checks.
The Chertsey unit looks after some of the smallest and sickest babies from across Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
It has also recently received the highest level of accreditation from neonatal charity Bliss for its family care.
