Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is expected to make his first return to the Etihad Stadium since leaving the club last summer when they host Paris Saint-Germain next week.

The Spaniard has publicly backed the club following their appeal against a guilty verdict for breaching Premier League financial rules.

Ex Chelsea midfielder and Coventry boss Frank Lampard who played for City during part of the period covered by the charges, was asked for his views on the case.
