Ahmed Yussuf claimed his car had broken down and changed RAC documents to back up his claims.
He admitted downloading and altering the forms, after an investigation by the South West London Fraud Partnership.
He’s been ordered to pay £2,492 in costs, as well as being banned from driving for eight months.
