A campaign has been launched to put a book in the hands of every primary school pupil in Hammersmith and Fulham.

It’s being led by a literacy organisation Reading Bridge with support from the Council.

The aim is to raise enough cash for around 8,500 books which will be worth approximately £80,000.

The campaign runs until the end of the month and has so far raised more than half of its £28,000 target from 29 backers.
