A new seven-metre gateway has been unveiled at Croydon’s historic Surrey Street Market.
It’s part of the £4.4 million regeneration project.
The market is one of Britain’s oldest, with a history stretching back more than 750 years.
The first phase of regeneration also includes resurfacing Overton’s Yard and installing trees and seating.
