The Royal Parks, RSPCA and British Deer Society say stags can become unpredictable and aggressive during the mating season.
It follows a serious incident in Richmond Park in August, when a stag attacked a man after approaching his picnic.
People are being told to stay at least 50 metres away, never feed deer, and keep dogs on leads and away from them.
