People living in Richmond are being urged to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle during Recycle Week.

Residents are being encouraged to cut food waste and reuse or repair clothes, furniture and electrical items where possible.

Unwanted electricals can be taken to Townmead Road centre, recycling banks or collected from the kerbside.

The council is also warning residents never to put batteries or vapes in household bins because they can cause fires.
