An aviation historian is to explore the life and mysterious disappearance of Amelia Earhart at a talk in Croydon.

The event at Historic Croydon Airport on September 30th will look at her final flight and years of research into what happened.

Visitors will also be able to see a genuine piece of Earhart’s Lockheed Vega aircraft, which she flew across the Atlantic.

The talk will also examine Earhart’s links to Britain and her friendships with pioneering aviators including Amy Johnson.
