20-year-old Morgan Ribeiro worked in a nursery for disabled children.
She travelled to Istanbul in January 2024 for weight loss surgery and was granted permission to return to the UK three days later by medics.
But the flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Serbia when she displayed health complications.
Morgan was admitted to an intensive care unit and died five days later.
The coroner has concluded her medical cause of death was peritonitis caused by the rupture, which likely happened as a result of the gastric sleeve surgery.
