Police were called to the hotel on Saturday, 29 August at around 9.40am, alongside other emergency services.
28-year-old Jake Holder has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Guildford Crown Court today.
Surrey Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
