Police were called to reports of an incident involving a car and a bus in Gunnersbury Avenue late last night.
The passenger of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the same car, a 24-year-old was taken to hospital, with injuries since deemed to be non-life-threatening nor life-changing.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, though remains in hospital for treatment.
The bus driver, a 61-year-old man, was also assessed at the scene for minor injuries and taken to hospital as a precaution.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD141/20AUG.
