Amber heat health alerts remain in force across the whole of England, after scorching temperatures yesterday.

It hit over 38 degrees in Kew Gardens, making it the hottest day of the year so far.

It’s expected to be slightly cooler today, around 33 Celsius.

We’re being asked to check on any elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
