Kingston Race and Equalities Council says it’s being postponed until next year to focus on its long-term sustainability.
This year’s event was due to take place on Sunday the 7th of September.
Kingston Carnival began as a small community initiative to celebrate Afro-Caribbean, Asian, and diverse cultural traditions in 2000.
There was a hiatus in 2020 because of Covid but it returned in 2022.
