The passenger in her 20s was in a Smart car which collided with a stationary street cleaning vehicle on Christ Church Road.
The vehicle’s driver, a man also in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and being uninsured.
Surrey Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses, CCTV or dashcam footage following the incident at 11.40pm on Wednesday.
