People across London are being urged to be a ‘One in a Million’ by registering to become an organ donor.

NHS Blood and Transplant is aiming to increase the amount of people on its register from 29 to 30 million people by the end of the year.

It comes as new figures published today, show that family consent for organ donor authorisation has fallen by almost a fifth in 5 years.

Meanwhile, for blood donations, South West London’s dedicated site is the Twickenham Plasma Donor Centre in London Road.
