A road in Battersea is being closed by Wandsworth Council each weekend during the summer to attract more visitors to the area.

Northcote Road is being pedestrianisation to create a shopping and dining destination for residents and visitors alike.

Last weekend, the Northcote Road Summer Festival took advantage of the busy High Street’s Sunday closure.

The festival brought in more than 50 market stalls, street food, entertainment, and a giant screen showing the Wimbledon finals.
