A man who murdered his wife at their home in Redhill and manipulated their child into helping him cover up his crime has had his jail term increased.

Robert Rhodes, who’s 53, will now have to spend at least 33 and a half years behind bars for killing his wife in 2016.

The Court of Appeal ruled the original sentence of 29-and-a-half years was too lenient.
