The blaze broke out in London Road in Hackbridge yesterday afternoon.
It’s the second fire this week believed to have been caused by this issue, with the other in Kingston on Sunday.
Firefighter advice is to make sure that mirrors, crystals and glass ornaments are kept out of direct sunlight at all times.
