Heat Ready London includes expanding access to cooling spaces and more public drinking water being available across the capital.
Meanwhile, over 250 “cool kits” have been handed out to elderly people and families across Kensington and Chelsea.
The council says it is also offering hotel accommodation to residents where needed.
