Armed police were called to a property in Ewell earlier this week after reports of concerns for safety.

Officers attended Bishopsmead Close just after 2:30pm on Tuesday following a report involving a weapon.

Enquiries were carried out at the scene and police found no evidence of any criminal offence.

They thanked residents for their patience and apologised for any disruption during the investigation.
