Police were called to a car park by a member of the public, who reported a concern about the condition of the vehicle on Wednesday.
After identifying the address of the registered keeper of the van, inquiries led to the arrest of the 39-year-old woman.
The force says inquiries to locate the man’s next of kin are under way.
