The High Court has refused permission for a judicial review into the closure of Twickenham Police Station’s front counter.

The base, which shut in February, was the last remaining police front counter in Richmond borough.

The council says it will continue pressing the Met Police and City Hall to restore the counter and officer provision.

The authority also wanted it made clear that no costs order was made against Richmond Council in the case.
