Miss Teen South West London, 17 year old Matilda Cooper from Motspur Park, is set to compete in the Miss Teen Great Britain finals in October at the Globe Theatre in Blackpool.

This is Matilda’s first ever pageant and she says it is all about giving back to your community and charity work.

Matilda is currently raising money for Together for Short Lives UK, a charity that specialises in children’s palliative care and working towards a partnership with PTSD UK.

Matilda says her aim for 2026 as the Miss Teen South West London is to give back as much as she can and be an inspiration for teenagers who suffer from poor mental health in the area.

Matilda was diagnosed with PTSD at 15, and she tells Jackie’s Dani Davies how that’s led her to want to give back to other youngsters in similar situations.
