The search for a missing woman from Ashford has been called off after a body was found in woodland near Virginia Water Lake.

Police say the body is believed to be that of a 70-year-old woman, and the appeal has now been closed.

Her family are being supported following the discovery.

Enquiries are ongoing, but the death is not believed to be suspicious, and no third-party involvement is suspected.
