Hundreds of people have taken to the stands at Walton & Hersham FC to raise awareness of the devastating impact of knife crime.

They were there to watch a football match in support of charity, Charlie’s Promise, founded following the murder of Charlie Cosser.

The 17-year-old was stabbed to death at a party in West Sussex in 2023.

Charlie’s dad, Martin Cosser, tells Jackie News why public events like this one are so important.
