The driver, who can now be named as Sergei Krajev died on Tuesday, the 19th of May after being in a critical condition in hospital.
32-year-old Gary Jones, of Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham, was arrested at the scene and charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
Jones will next appear in court on the 15th of June. Anyone with information that could help should call the police 101.
