Investigations are continuing after a man in his 40s died following a collision in Effingham on Wednesday night.

Police were called to reports of an incident involving a white BMW and a grey Landrover Freelander on Guildford Road.

The passenger in the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving.
