Croydon Council recorded no overall party majority in the 2026 local councillor elections.
The results of Croydon’s mayoral election were announced with Conservative Executive Mayor Jason Perry winning a second term as Croydon’s directly-elected mayor.
Croydon Council is now made up of the following councillors:
• 28 Conservatives
• 8 Greens
• 30 Labour
• 2 Liberal Democrats
• 2 Reform
Voter turnout was 41.02%.
This means a total 286,933 people voted in Croydon’s elections, making it one of the largest local election counts in London.

It is a huge honour to be re-elected as your Mayor.
This borough has been through so much – but we’ve started turning things around together.
Now we keep going.
