Joyce Greathead was joined by family and friends at Royal Star & Garter Care Home for a special celebration earlier this week.
Joyce served in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force from 1943 to 1946 as a Wireless Operator.
The great-grandmother was born in 1921, less than three years after the end of World War I.
