Officers were called to outside Royal Holloway University of London on Wednesday the 25th of March at around 7.30pm.
A blue Ford Fiesta hit a woman in her 20s, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.
The driver is known to police and assisting enquiries, while officers are also seeking the driver of another car who helped at the scene.
Any witnesses are urged to contact police on 101.
